Our Fest will be high on fun and good vibes and low on attitude. Our home
crowd of mostly students is very nice and mellow, and we will be joined by
others from tango clubs around the Northeast, as well as dancers from the big
tango communities and the festival circuit. There will be lots of fresh faces
you've never danced with! And all your friends will be here, why would you want
to be anywhere else. There will be liberal servings of funky alternative music
for those who desire it. Our Fest rocks!
Hotel rooms can be had for $45-60, and it's convenient drive/ride from
wherever you are. All the hospitality info is on our website.
WEEKEND PASS, includes EVERYTHING:
any and all classes (choice of 16),
4 practicas (2 regular, 2 for beginners)
3 milongas (including an all-nighter and two until 2am)
Prices:
General admission: $110
Full time students with ID: $55
If the weekend pass is too much tango for you, please get on our email list
through www.yaletangofest.com and we will notify you of per-event and per-class
registration coming up. Still, just to do the math for you, if you were going
to take only 3 workshops (manufacturer's suggested retail price, how about $23
each) and 3 milongas (retail value, say, $12, or $20 for the one that includes
buffet dinner), and zero practicas, it would STILL be cheaper for you to take a
pass. Plus, you get to pick and choose your events now that everything is still
available. We are a third full of projections for some of the events, and
registration has been open just 4 days, with T-Day 5 weeks away.
How to register:
(1) Go to the Schedule on www.yaletangofest.com
and take a note of which classes/events you wish to take.
(2) Go to the Registrations page from www.yaletangofest.com
Decide which pass you want. Please read all the information. Follow the
registration link at the bottom and use the form. After filling it out, press
submit and review your choices. When you are ready, click Continue.
(3) Payment method
We offer credit card billing handled by PayPal. Please note there is no need
to set up a PayPal account; you can just use your regular credit card and then
you can continue deleting all those fake emails that pretend to be form Paypal,
because if you have no PayPal account nobody has any business writing you about
it.
