Chicago's own full tango orchestra will play its debut on Sunday, April 30th,
2006 beginning at 6:00 pm at the American Tango Institute (325 N. Hoyne at
Carroll, Chicago). The first set of live tango music will be designed for your
listening pleasure; dancing will be available during the intermission as well
as during the second set. Following the second set, a DJed milonga will
continue until midnight.

The 7 piece Orquesta Bohemia de Chicago is conducted by master bandoneonist
Gerardo Perez. Other members of the Orquesta Bohemia include: Pawel Checinski
(piano), Victoria Moreira & Vasile Ardeleanu (violins), Lliliana Wosko (cello),
Lindsay Smith (viola) and Brian Doherty (bass). They will feature works by
Piazzolla in addition to other traditional Argentinean and Uruguayan composers.

Advance ticket purchase will be necessary for a seat at the Orquesta
Bohemias premier performance, as seating will be limited to allow room for
dancing in ATIs Pugliese & Piazzolla Ballroom and it is expected to sell out.
A table may be purchased for $120 with 4 tickets for the evening; individual
seats at a table will be $35 each. Additionally, there will be individual seats
not at tables, available for purchase at $25.
