Please come to the practica and help each other, there is not way to move forward if you don't. HOME WORK: Think about an exercise that you can do to overcome your fears in life, that may help to overcome your fears of falling or dancing. There is nothing wrong on falling, you fall and you stand-up again and you learn how to recover your balance in a more natural way, but if you continuously prevent your self from falling you never learn how to release the tension that the fear of falling but not "the fall" it self creates in your bodies. Letting your self go or fall is the principle of movement. Loosing control or loosing your axes is the only way to learn how to find it. You already learned proper technique in your dance now is time to let go and think about energy and balance, so you can start working on trust and communication with your partner. You need to give your self to your partner with not fear, the body needs to be open to the journey of the dance. Resistance and control are not a good words for communication, translate that in to your body. See you tonight or next wednesday in class.
