ABOUT TATE: Tate Di Chiazza aims to bring his students into that “other
dimension” unique to tango in which the acute connection creates a
sensation of delivery from one dancer to the other. Tate seeks to
achieve a lead so effective and emotive that his partner feels able and
compelled to close her eyes. And conversely, a follow/counter-lead
relaxed, confident, secure, and inspired enough so as to surprise her
partner. The class will aim to understand the subtleties responsible for
the movements (or steps), the connection, and the sensibility to the music.
Tate has studied under Susana Miller, Osvaldo Zotto, Gabriel Angio y
Natalia Games, Fabián Salas, Luis Solanas. Assistant choreographer and
principal dancer for “ Tanguera,” the internationally touring
production, during 2001 - 2005. Regular instructor in the institutes
belonging to Maximilliano Guerra, Susana Miller, and Mora Godoy. He is
currently teaching in Buenos Aires at "La Fundación de tango" with

ABOUT ROSA: Rosa Collantes is an international tango & salsa star based
in NYC, renowned as a choreographer, teacher and dancer. She has studied
with some of the most distinguished names in tango including Carlos
Gavito & Nito and Elba, and recently coached actor Matt Damon for his
dance in the upcoming film The Brothers Grimm. Known for her sensual
style, she has performed at Carnegie Hall, Madison Wquare, Garden,
Lincoln Center and Town Hall in NYC and has appeared on TV including
HBO, Good Morning America, Regis and Kathy, Telemundo and Canal Sur.
Rosa also has an encyclopedic knowledge of Latin American folklore
