The tango "Quejas de Bandoneon" written by Juan de Dios Filiberto (1958) IS
INSTRUMENTAL, it does not have lyrics.

Juan de Dios Filiberto was expelled from school due to bad behavior at age 9.
He remained undereducated but he had a passion for music. One of his first jobs
was at the Opera, Teatro Colon, in Buenos Aires.

Here he had the chance to listen to classic music.

He studied music and wrote beautiful tangos such as "Caminito", Malevaje,
Cuando llora la milonga, El paƱuelito, etc.

Many of his tangos were recorded by Carlos Gardel.

Quejas de Bandoneon, recorded by Anibal Troilo (1958) is a beautiful tango.

During the slow moments (addagios) you can hear the bandoneon wailing,
crying,lamenting...

The meaning of quejas here is then lament, wail, plaint, threnody.

Gemido, lamento, queja, gimotear, llorar, .

Best regards, Sergio
