He has studied tango for many years with some of Argentina's most talented dancers, including: Fabian Salas & Carolina Del Rivero, Julio Balmaceda & Corina De la Rosa, Cacho Dante, Cecilia Gonzales, Carlos Gavito, Pedro Monteleone, Patrizia Pollarolo & Carlo Margiocchi, Luciana Valle, Edoardo Capussi & Mariana Flores, Sebastian Arce & Mariana Montes, etc. In 2001 he started his activity as a tango teacher in Salt Lake City, UT, opening the Dance Studio of Argentine Tango and teaching beginner, intermediate and advanced levels, in addition to a choreography class. His style of teaching is inventive, energetic and direct. He also served as Tango choreographer for the major motion picture "Blind Guy" with Jane Seymour and Stephen Tobolowsky (for release in 2006). ---------------------------------------------------------------------- -- ------------ David Caditz began his study of Argentine Tango in Buenos Aires, Argentina in the early-1990's. Over the past ten years, David has taught workshops and given performanes throughout much of the Western United States. David is the founder and lead instructor of Tango Montana dance school and has recently moved to the bay area to become part of our local tango community. He has had in-depth instruction from numerous master teachers and is greatly influenced by the dance styles of Fabian Salas, Julio Balmaceda and Corina de la Rosa, Gustavo Naviera, Chicho Frumboli, Lucia Mazer and others. David is well-known for clear and concise teaching and dynamic dancing with an emphasis on musicality, partnership and intimate embrace.
