You might need to consider things like:
- that some offices are using programs that only works on win98 like
what I have here at my workplace (finance program),
- future update/upgrade (both hardware and software), who's going to help?,
- training,
- etc.

John did mentioned in his 1st email about office computers apart from home computer.

Brainstorming:
If viruses and spyware are the only concerns, then probably there're
better ways to minimise the problems. For example: computers can only
install programs that to be used, limitting floppy and cdrom access,
Internet if available browsing only (no download), ways to prevent mail
problems, etc.

berat + membiarkan devisa negara "terbang" begitu saja (kalo bukan
Win**** bajakan lho!)? no offense yah, tapi saya kontra sekali dengan
gimane ceritanye tuh?"

I'm not against. I just want to say that John needs to do some homework first before he mess with their computers. By then, we can see what are things need to be considered and to come out with the best way to minimise the problems.

Brainstorming:
Printing can be a problem too, some win*** programs are customised to print at specific part of the paper.
