Dear rekans, Terima kasih atas semua pencerahannya, Saya kenal GNU/Linux (debian) sejak taun 99 & menjadi penggunanya sampai sekarang. Sejak RHEL terbit, terus terang saya kurang paham masalah licensinya ini, wong dulu (th 2000) saya kenal RedHat versi 5.0 masih gratis. Di sisi teknis infrastruktur TI, bagi perusahaan yang termasuk kategori 'SBC' (Small Budget Company) terkadang mengharuskan untuk mempunyai sebuah sistem aplikasi yang besar/enterprise. Contoh kasus: Leasing Company + Oracle Application Jadi kesimpulannya penggunaan copyan RHEL = ilegal wah...kesimpulannya harus mengeluarkan extra cost jika license yah.. :-) Ok sekali lagi terima kasih. Mau tanya lagi, Bagi pengguna RHEL versi 'illegal' / copy ada yang pernah punya kasus kena sweeping BSA ngga? :-) apakah perlakuannya sama seperti ketika kita menggunakan Micro$oft. kalo memang sama, berarti GNU/Linux sudah tidak 'menempel' lagi di RHEL dong yah...
