I'm inclined to say yuk on this. And it's not because of Spindle. Spindle reuses the TemplateParser as is so the burden is on the parser writer, not me.
I'm not clear that having *another* way to reference components will accomplish anything other than bloating the framework and further perpetuate the conception that Tapestry is hard to learn.
