Agreed. All the board are looking for (I believe) is someone who is:

a) a committer
b) chosen by consensus of the community
c) someone they can work with - by which I really mean, not someone
they can't work with.

Don't let shortness of time here get in the way. If the rest of the
Tapestry community are behind you, I see no problem with that.
