If you look carefully at the "X-Mailer" field of the email sent, you will see that the mail client used is "Lotus Notes Release 5.07a May 14, 2001". Unfortunately, the french version is replacing the "Re:" with "Réf. :". Changing this value if probably not possible on a per-user basis...
