Is it possible to build tapestry cvs without jdk1.5 and turn off 
annotations?

I am using Mac OSX and after modifying a couple of the tests to make them 
pass I get javac: invalid target release: 1.5.

Is anyone using the Mac OSX Java 2 SE 5.0 Release 1? If so are there any 
problems with it?
