Hi Howard and all,
Hi.
Honestly speaking, this is a strange mail.
Hmm, yes.
Should the tapestry community get their instructions/hints before leaving their mailing list and venture the wide world on theserverside? I don't think so.
Well, I think Howard makes a good point providing these guidelines. It's not like he's forcing you to comply or anything, just asking. After all, it's in everyone's best interest to make people interested in Tapestry.
Anyway, doesn't really matter. I think instead, effort should put into making tapestry more attractive.
If Tapestry isn't attractive enough as it is, I don't know what is.
As I allready mentioned a few times, tapestry is attractive from a technology point of view.
Isn't that what matters, really?
Looking at other domains, tapestry has a long road to walk.
Yeah, the framework sure isn't bloated enough... </sarcasm>
I have the impression that nobody isn't really putting effort into it.
Don't use no double negatives, erm, I mean, people are putting a lot of effort into Tapestry - especially Howard, but certainly also the rest of the developers and the community as a whole.
Given the fact that we are feeling the hot breath of other technologies such as jsf, this starts to bother me.
JSF isn't even close to Tapestry, it just happens to be a standard - endorsed by Sun. I, for one, couldn't care less, really.
I'm am investing a lot into this technology and I wouldn't want it to become a marginal framework used by die hard fans only.
I think most of us are. And no, I don't think Tapestry will ever become a marginal framework used by die hard fans only. Which assumptions do I base this on? I don't know, just my guts telling me I guess.
What do you guys think about it?
I mostly disagree, I guess. I hope I'm not coming accross as hostile, angry, or anyting like that. I just happen to disagree.
