Hi Nick, unfortunately I can't tell you any experiences but one question comes to my mind: Do the HiveUtils offer something similar to the HibernateTemplates in Spring? That was the main reason for me to use Spring but perhaps Hivemind is even better (because you don't have the Spring dependancy anymore as hivemind is needed for tapestry anyway)?
