excluding files and or folders

I read the tips section on exclusion of files and or folders and thought the 
program would go through the archives when I ran the script and exclude all the 
files and folders I put in the list. I understand why it does not do that and 
I'm glad it doesn't as if I made a mistake I could end up saying very bad 
things. Lol. Anyway, is there a way to  via tarsnap delete what I have in the 
exclusion list? Or do I need to start over and reupload according to the list I 
have in my cfg file. Thanks.
