Mungkin jawaban ini dapat membantu.

As you may have heard, a "broadcast" e-mail is being sent all around the world in which a story is announced about some kind of mysterious "VIRUS" which can infect a mobile phone when this phone answers a call with "UNAVAILABLE" in the display.
This message causes many customers to panic and many questions have already been asked about this to our company.
I have asked Harry Odenhoven at his Hongkong GSM operator PEOPLE's PHONE COMPANY if they have the same problem and how they handle it.
Attached is his answer to me.  They have already made a Q&A for their customer service people and press department which I think is quite complete.
Maybe we can use this input, added with our own investigation results, to inform our customers through caroline, frontline, corporate communications and internet homepage that there is no need to panic.

I hope this input is useful for this purpose.

ERIK MEIJER.

Harry,
The Q & As and the news from a local newspaper.

An email about the rumor of a virus on Mobile Phone System spreads over HK
*       The email
* NOW THERE IS A VIRUS ON MOBILE PHONE SYSTEM.
* All mobile phone in DIGITAL system can be infected by this virus. If
you receive a phone call and your phone display "UNAVAILABLE" on the screen
(for most of digital mobile phones with a function to display in-coming call
telephone number), DON'T ANSWER THE CALL. END THE CALL IMMEDIATELY!!!
BECAUSE IF YOU ANSWER THE CALL, YOUR PHONE WILL BE INFECTED BY THIS VIRUS.
* This virus will erase all IMIE and IMSI information from both your
phone and your SIM card which will make your phone unable to connect with
the telephone network. You will have to buy a new phone. This information
has been confirmed by both Motorola and Nokia.
* For more information, please visit Motorola or Nokia web sites:
http://www.mot.com <http://www.mot.com> or http://www.nokia.com
<http://www.nokia.com> .
* There are over 3 million mobile phone being infected by this virus
in USA now. You can also check this news in CNN web site:http://www.cnn.com.

* Responses from Nokia and Motorola HK
* The HK office of both Nokia and Motorola denied having confirmed the
information.
* Motorola : If the call is made from pay-phone or from the caller
with "Restricted Caller Number Display" function, the handset will display
"unavailable".

*       Responses from OFTA
* There is no evidence to confirm the validity of this rumor, but the
Office will follow up.
* The Office contacted Nokia and Motorola upon receiving this
information. Nokia said the Company would follow up and would announce
clarification if necessary.

Q & As:
A. Technical

1. Is it feasible technically that the handset can be infected in the
way as said in the following rumor?
* Unlikely. Signaling between handset and switch is strictly based on
a standardized protocol which does not allow any kind of additional
attachment or command sequence that deviates from normal call setup. Without
any vehicle to carry a 'VIRUS' across the air-interface, it is unlikely that
a phone can be infected by simply answering a call.

2. Has Peoples found any infection cases by this virus?
* We have not heard/found any kind of VIRUS.

3. What can Peoples do internally with the system to prevent this
infection (if applicable)?
* Our switch software is securely maintained by our equipment vendor.
It is very difficult for hacker to break into our network to modify the
switch software to introduce any abnormal activity.

4. What can subscribers do to avoid this infection (if applicable)?
* Subscriber should not do anything, as this rumor has no evidence.

5. Under what situations will the handset displays "Unavailable"?
* To be able to display 'UNAVAILABLE', the subscriber has to have
'call line display' function subscribed. During an incoming call setup, if
the caller's line has their calling number set to 'incomplete', some
handsets (e.g. Motorola) will display 'UNAVAILABLE'. Such case can be
simulated when you make a call from some PABX or payphone to our mobile (our
company PABX do not have such function).

6. Can we get clarification with Nokia and Motorola regarding this
rumor?
* Both Nokia and Motorola have clarified that this is an incorrect
information. Nokia Headquarter is considering to have a press release
formally deny this rumor.

B. General
1. What are Peoples' views?
We are investigating the technical feasibility and have addressed
this issue to Nokia and Motorola. We will follow up closely. We, however,
will not comment on any rumor that based on no evidence.
        2. Are Peoples going to stop selling handsets from these two
manufacturers?
There is no evidence to show that the rumor is valid at the moment.
We will follow up closely and will take appropriate actions if necessarily.
        3. What actions will Peoples take regarding this rumor?
We have already addressed this issue to Nokia and Motorola for
investigation.
Tests against the technical feasibility of this infection are also
under progress.
