Lol... I warned you :) I've played around with many a mic but for the money, I've not found anything that sounded better, nor was more versatile than the Shure KSM32. I bought one and fell in love with the sound. I've seen them in use almost everywhere and for good reason. They sound great on a variety of instruments and vocals. I'm a geek for mics but only for so far. Eventually, I just want them to work and sound great. These mics work for me in that capacity.
For our live "one mic" setup, we use two. One up and one down. The band loves 'em. I love 'em. Done deal. But as always, your millage may vary...
