Not the song... but actual memorabilia of Monroe.

As I was collecting autographs at the Stillwater show on Saturday it
was interesting for me to watch the performers with the crowd at the
merchandise area.  I was talking with Kenny Smith and he was telling
me that he never personally got Monroes autograph that someone got a
ticket stub signed and gave it to him.  This reminded me of my friend
who got the chance to open for Monroe in the 70's and Bill signed his
hat after the "To Bob, Bill Monroe".  When he left the band he was
told the Hat was "Band's property".  Kenny said he would have had to
take that hat in the car no matter what?

Any of you folks have any personal experiences with Monroe?
