I should write one vegetation blues... last fall my mother in law enlisted a landscape crew for out 1/24 of an acre or whatever the miserable piece of land is at our rent house to mow the law and clean the flower beds when our little girl was born. Not only did they clean the flower beds but they uprooted and took out my corn, cucumbers, tomato, pumpkins, carrots, peppers, basil, cilantro in the available land we do have.
