Robin, love the photo on your publicity....reminds me of the old days with my grandpa, Ezra, instead of geese we had the dog Lucky to move me and various cargo around the garden in a wagon he made for the purpose, similar to the one in the photo, there were visits to orchard, grape arbor and hen house, flower beds, vegie patch, etc..
I am having going-into-winter-blues, I don't think there is a tune written about it but never-the-less, its cold, we use hot water bottles in the bed at night to try and get it and ourselves warm quicker, (trying to use the least energy) heating the room with some device is too xxxy to consider. The temp. at night in winter is between 45 and 32 F, without heating in the room it seems very cold...even though its not below freezing. We have high ceilings, poor insulation, are close to the sea and cop the wind and rain, June, July and Aug. are the worst of it. In winter I think we need our heads read to stay in this place, but the summer is very nice. So, you lucky folks in Northern Hemisphere, enjoy that nice summer sunshine which is on its way if not there already. All that heat in Houston sounds pretty dang nice to me ...just now, but 100 degrees, please...., that is just over the top. I just bought a vintage mandolin off ebay...too excited..its a white Gibson - A3, kinda rough looking but hear tell it has a great sound/ tone, I have to wait to try it out in person. Toes are curled waiting to get a-hold of it. Shivering in Hobart. Linda On May 10, 8:57 pm, Robin Gravina <[email protected]> wrote: > Been dealing with my lunatic boss and his 'ideas'...
