I am at home alone this week, which means the stereo can go up to its natural limits. I'm sitting here listening to the 'Off the Record' of the Bluegrass boys, extremely loud through some reasonably good speakers, and playing along with the chords. Just how good is that music? Just how good is Brad Keith? How clearly can you play a mandolin at extreme volume? How many solos did Monroe play which break your heart?
