Trey, great questions, I always just let my luthier do that stuff, said sheepishly... the discussion about this is interesting, seems so many things can alter the tone, the ring and jangle of the strings. Also, Tater, great to read you observations ..recent ones on Southern Flavor, maybe soon you will like to tab it out <G>.. I for one would sure like that. Its one that is played here by some of the local folks, I have always thought it a wonderful tune, I am pretty sure I could tab all the notes but might not be able to tell where to go up the neck ..which is where some of the great sound comes from...I have thought ..anyway.
