International Bluegrass Music Museum: Weber Mandolin Auction August 7th, 2009 Hello, Monroe-Style Mandolin Campers! Here's a chance to have a fine first or second mandolin, and help the museum as well: The museum has been gifted with a Weber Bitterroot F Style Mandolin valued at $2,999.00 to sell at auction. Weber generously donated it to us in support of both mando camp and ROMP. It has a particularly fine tone, strong and melodic. This is one of the best instruments we've been given and will undoubtedly age well. To view it, go to their website, www.soundtoearth.com. Richie Brown (The Reunion Band, Boston and Associate Director of the Monroe-Style Mandolin Camp) was enjoying playing it at our booth at IBMA.
