This is the main bridge between Hobart and the Eastern Shore where I live. The houses in the foreground are on my street, one block up. The river is the River Derwent, and at just about where the bridge is...it looks more like an inlet of the sea. We have a deep port and huge ocean-liners call into port during the good weather months.
