tater these are sitar strings as of now... i have no clue about the gauges. two are wound and two steel strings. the instrument i have with me doesnt belong to me... but i am considering getting one for myself. these originally come with wooden keys to wind. like sitar but mine has cheap machine heads. from the look of it its not very well made or nicely finished. everything is just functional. i have taken quotes for myself and thats what its coming to. i have to find out the shipping cost. and i will let you know. also its made to order. so there is a small waiting time i guess. how is tunes is D G C F or ideally a half tone lower that this. i have not experimented too much on tuning it like a mandolin.
