I've been lurking on this group quite a while enjoying the viewpoints and wisdom. Thanks, by the way, Tater, for sharing the account of the impact of your first child's birth. Reminds me how much I missed your writing when your site went offline for so long back when. Anyhow, I figure it's time I "man up" and start contributing.
This transcription talk calls to mind that recently I got a xeroxed book of Japanese transcriptions of "Kenny Baker Plays Bill Monroe." It came from Barry Mitterhoff, here in New York, who I think(?) got it in Japan touring with Tex Logan. Seems to be pretty accurate. Luckily or not it's instrumental, because I hear they did some pretty funny stuff translating Monroe's lyrics... Anyhow, I scanned and cleaned it up, redrawing the staff lines for legibility, and made a PDF, which I've posted in "Files." Merry Christmas!
