I went see Wank play in Portland a few years back. I was sitting with two very good mandolin players, they were slumming, of course. sitting with me. We were talking during the intermission and one was raving about Frank, his influence, his originality, his amazing ideas while the other hated everything about the show, wanted his money back and, by god, he was leaving. Now I loved everything about the show, warts and all, but I can see that Frank may well be an acquired taste, like raw oysters. So, is that the case? Do you love him or hate him? I love raw oysters, but thing sushi is bate.
