Kenny recorded it on the album entitled Dry and Dusty. The same album that
featured Bob Black playing Grey Eagle on the banjo. It also had Kenny's
version of Dry and Dusty and Sweet Bunch of Daisies and a version of Sally
Goodin' that starts out in the key of G and then modulates to A.
I never heard Monroe play the tune but I'm sure Taterboys version is
probably as close as any human, assuming Tater is human, can get to what
Monroe played. Kenny's version is a little different. Both are great but I
think Monroe's (Taterbugs) is a little better. It's a great tune either way
and I wish more folks would play it.
