Hey Jonas...my band uses Docs a lot for sharing MP3s (all perfectly legal, of course :) and images, etc, so it shouldn't be a problem. We have posted all manner of things out there...and with each user in a list able to edit individual documents--if you went that way--it is a great alternative.
