Maybe two weeks would be good: personally if I have can get the time to work on stuff, which is not guaranteed, I get into it quite quickly, at least to the point where I am then ready to play it for the next weeks and months, at which point they may be better, but possibly not massively better than when I have just learnt them...
Not sure what I'm saying here, but why not give the two weeks a whirl. I'll sit and grub in front of my webcam over this long weekend if I get the chance. Why not!
