Hello user/hacker of T2, I would like to raise one of the priorities on the T2 to do list. Please respond to this e-mail if you find the following as much a critical bottleneck as I do. It is about the T2 input window closing after each workflow run.
Many of my (nested) workflows have many inputs and/or several long inputs. In Taverna 2, the input window does not stay open after run as it did in Taverna 1, which means that trial-and-error prototyping a workflow has become almost undoable for me. Despite some of the real benefits of the T2 beta (e.g. I love the more strict list handling), I have decided to wait for improvement of the T2 input window before seriously pursuing T2 further. Prototyping simply takes me too much time now. NB There are various 'work-arounds' (e.g. a beanshell with inputs), but they require extra work too and changing the workflow that you want to test seems a bad idea. Many thanks!
