At Manchester, we have a student who is working on portlets for
selecting a workflow, specifying input data, running the workflow on a
remote enactor, monitoring the workflow run and showing the results.

We also had a third-year student (Rory Newton) this year who did a
prototype for running a workflow from within Liferay, but it is JSR
168/286 compliant. He also had a portlet that interfaced with
myExperiment. He is going to be working over the summer in the same
area (I think).

There is a project that we are involved in called Ne-ISS
(http://www.neiss.org.uk) that will include portlets to run Taverna
workflows.

I've asked Shoaib to think about a virtual space to collaborate in this
area. A lot of people seem to be working on similar ideas and it would
be sad if there was needless duplication.
