I guess that all our approaches consist of
1) Beans which encapsulate the engine (We do)
2) Beans which encapsulate the workflow (We do)
3.1) possibly specialised beans which
encapsulate the workflow inputs (Not yet)
3.2) possibly specialised beans which
encapsulate the workflow outputs (Not yet)
4) Possibly a Web tag library, which offers
renderers for the workflow output. (Not yet)
5) Some Web UI Code, possibly using JSF (We do)
Since all of us have working 1.0 prototypes, we could discuss
the common requirements, existing solutions, locate (if any)
incompatibilities between the approaches, and start
with a fresh project (Where ? Taverna SVN ?) and gradually
import the existing stuff, forming the 2.0 taverna player. Or so.
For the technical stuff we could meet on freenode IRC #taverna,
the strategic decision will have to be met by the individual projects.
Convenient times could be 9:30 (Chicago, CST), 15:30 (Manchester, GMT)
and 16:30 (Halle, CET)
