Taverna 1.7.2 has now been released and uploaded to Sourceforge.
There is currently a known issue with the sourceforge site, in that you
cannot change the default download (the big green button), so until this
is fixed you need to go directly to the files page to download Taverna
1.7.2 - https://sourceforge.net/projects/taverna/files/ .
This is largely a maintenance release, and the key changes include:
Enhancements to the Biomoby plugin - including code maintenance and
support for http post services (synchronous/asynchronous) ,
a fix for handling some non WS-I compliant arrays returned from
RPC/Encoded webservices,
improvements to handing Alternative processors,
fixes to the Remote Execution and myExperiment plugins. - As mentioned
in a previous email, there is also a new download of the remotetaverna
war file available under taverna-utilities (towards the bottom of the
file page on sourceforge).
This release is packaged as a complete bundle (so no extra downloading
when first running), together with a standard installer for Windows.
A self extracting zip file is also available for Windows users that do
not have permissions to install applications.
The Taverna 2 preview plugin has been removed, as Taverna 2.1 beta 2 is
now available as a standalone application.
