I got the server now to run my workflows containing local workers. I put all the dependency jar files for Taverna 2.1b2 on Tomcat's classpath and it works.
However, I have another question now. Is it possible to send a binary file to the REST interface of the Taverna Server as input for a workflow? In T2 workbench, you can just click on "Add file locations" before executing the workflow. In T2 server, I see that the uploaded input values are stored in XML wrappers, so it seems to be unnatural to put binary data inside. Or is there some kind of "attachment" mechanism for binaries?
