I don't think we've got the resources to tackle the first; it's a lot of work (i.e., multiple man-years) and our developers are up to our ears in other things. The second is more likely to be done as the amount of work is much smaller, but I don't know any timescale for it. Have you submitted a feature request for it yet? Donal.
