Planned? Not yet. Can change that in a few minutes though. :-)

Of more relevance is knowing what sort of message should be sent at that point. What porttype should we expect the remote service to implement? What security (if any)? Implementing something is possible, even easy, but we've got to get the details right.

Simple text message, emailed out to the email address registered as a property on the notifier (registration mechanism may change in the future). For twitter, it pushes a status change to an account; the complication there is setting up the authentication (xAuth is a PITA, to be honest). The twitter dispatcher includes a rate limiter so that we won't inundate their service with messages (IIRC, the myExperiment guys have already been asked to not do that...)
