Alan: > Steffen: > >> Hello, I managed to produce this error from within Taverna. My hunch >> is that this is a consequence of difficulties that other parts of >> Taverna have with the "merge" of ports and about what to delete >> (internally) after a merge was deleted. But whatever may have caused >> it, this error should not happen, I presume. >> > Thanks for reporting this and giving such detailed information. I think > that it is the bug already noted as > http://www.mygrid.org.uk/dev/issues/browse/T2-379 > Yes, the error is the same. >> Taverna shows the processors and links, all correct from what I could >> see, but no image is derived from it. To save this list from a long >> attachment and to test if that other parse could work with this, I >> uploaded the workflow that is reliably causing this problem to >> >> http://www.myexperiment.org/workflows/856 >> > > It's strange - I can load and display that workflow in Taverna 2.0 and > 2.1 beta 2. See attached png. Is all the workflow there? > I am only "on taverna-users digest" and could not see your image. But certainly I felt challenged :) So I downloaded my previous submission from myExperiment and started Taverna again - which spawned the bug again.
Somehow stimulated by the second bug report, I then tried the "show all ports" display and that then worked. So it is with some higher confidence only a .dot-generation problem. >> I have not tested if the workflow can be executed. >> > It doesn't :-) I get errors on the two filter_list_... local workers as > you haven't set the group number. This is when the error occurred ... I had a String Constant to say "1" and wanted that output shared by the two extra regexps. Taverna then felt like adding a "merge" at the output and when I deleted that again, all of a sudden the .dot broke. Do you possibly have the all-ports-display set as a default? > If I set it to 1 then I get what > looks like possibly sensible output (to a non-bioinformatician like me). > I can send you the results off-list if you want. > Very nice - many thanks! Btw, is there a reason why myExperiment does not prepare an image like it did in the past? I have just uploaded two, and the second first was just fine on my 2.1b2.
