The application does more than running the workflow in a cloud as it
has to split up the data, create and mount species-specific volumes,
merge output data etc.

We'll be discussing in the next week or so, how to proceed with the
cloud work.  There is a lot of interest in the next generation
sequencing, which has particular needs, but we also want to do things
like create an Amazon VM containing a Taverna server that anyone can
instance instead of installing their own server or server VM.

I'll need to talk with the myExperiment people about how to link the
two together.  Dave De Roure (co-lead of myExperiment) is very
interested in the cloud work and is a Professor at Oxford e-Research
Centre whose cloud we experimented on (as well as Edinburgh's).
