Egon, Many thanks for your rapid reply. I have not found any log files and the CDK plugin installation seems to proceed identically on both the Vista and XP boxes. The only difference is that the CDK options don't appear in the menus. Very odd. Just for fun (!) I'm going to try it on a Windows 7 box and a Windows 2000 Professional box.
