I was just thinking - if the service has no outputs and can't return any errors, this shouldn't affect your workflow (except for the service turning up red in Taverna), so it should still work.. right? I assume the server just starts doing its job as soon as its been called. If you use Taverna 2.2 then a 'Run after' conditional would still be triggered even if the service fails.
