Hi,
I am having a problem with the TavernaServer-2.2a1 which sounds similar to the
message posted recently, except this is with REST rather than SOAP. I have
successfully installed the server, as well as the client demonstrator. I am
able to create workflow runs as per the instructions here:
http://www.mygrid.org.uk/dev/wiki/display/taverna/Portals. The 'Runs' page
lists runs, with their identification, creation time and finish time. However
though the workflow seems to completes successfully, I'm unable to access the
output. E.g. for the 'fetch today's xkcd comic' example:
- The Demonstrator returns the following: "The run caused the server to give
error: Parsing failed. Reason: Unrecognized option: -outputdir".
- URL http://localhost:8080/TavernaServer.2.2a1/rest/runs/[uuid]/status,
response is the string 'Finished'
- URL http://localhost:8080/TavernaServer.2.2a1/rest/runs/[uuid]/output,
response is empty (but status is 200)
- URL
http://localhost:8080/TavernaServer.2.2a1/rest/runs/[uuid]/listeners/io/properties/stdout
is also empty (status 200)
- URL http://localhost:8080/TavernaServer.2.2a1/rest/runs/[uuid]/wd, response
is:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<ns3:directoryContents xmlns:ns2="http://ns.taverna.org.uk/2010/xml/server/"
xmlns:ns3="http://ns.taverna.org.uk/2010/xml/server/rest/"
xmlns:xlink="http://www.w3.org/1999/xlink"/>
So I'm not sure if I should be specifying an output directory somewhere? I
thought not, as the REST documentation states that the outputs are stored in
the 'out' subdirectory of the run's working directory - but I don't think
that's being created.
Thanks in advance (I'm on Mac OS X by the way),
Sirisha
