Man. I haven't got a clue. if it was me, I'd back up my "mail"
subdir and reinstall "the bat!"
I know it isn't fun recreating all the mail folders.
But, that's about my only advise.
The only other way I know to delete the extra mail is using the "Dispatch
mail on server" switch. and then tag an delete the messages you do not
want. That won't stop the mail from going to the server though.
FYI BTW- I haven't even been here for two days. (had to go repair someone's
computer) Saturday morning was the last time I was online until now.
