Hi Nick,
On 28 October 2000 at 11:44:54 GMT -0700 (which was 19:44 where I
live) Nick Andriash wrote and made these points on the subject

I disagree, because the mechanism can be implemented perfectly safely
in AB templates.
%TO should not be used in a folder template. That's the bottom line.
Not because it is bugged. It does *exactly* what it should - and
/what/ it does should *not* be done for messages generated within a
folder.
If a user insists on taking that particular "easy way out" then it is
still the user's responsibility (having chosen to use the macros and
templates in that way). That user has to take responsibility for being
aware that this is what they have told TB to do with messages
generated from within that folder.
Of course, it is also that user's responsibility to check that a
message is correctly addressed before hitting send <g>.
