I understand your wish to make a new issue but IMHO it would be catastrophic
for Ritlabs to issue version 5 in its present form. As others have said, it
is really no more than an alpha in its present state -- full of bits which do
not work properly.
My personal situation does not warrant using imap, I only use POP3.
Showstoppers:
1. The virtual folders are not working properly.
2. The Read filters do not work.
