But I will say that for my Gmail account with the IMAP option, versions 5 have worked better than versions 4.2xx ever did. There has been no problem handling an inbox queue (unlike versions 4). I am about to return to using TB as my primary, instead of Thunderbird. It is only a matter of time (and that is based upon my schedule of tasks, not based upon what more work you're doing).
