Maybe, just *maybe* and *sometimes* it's better to speak up when you just
get the hint of a suspicion that things may not be going quite the way
you'd like them to, than to *expect* and be disappointed.
"Funnywise" this reminds me on all the GFs I tried to teach the same: speak
up on time, don't silently expect and be disappointed later. Seems like they
aren't the only ones exhibiting this pattern.

Well... And you, for your part, didn't help them do otherwise.
It's too easy to silently let someone run against a knife and then shout up
loud after they did. Everyone *can* do that...only is that quite what
you want to do?
