Hello Alexander Levenetz,

where you think I live) you told to the list :

SH>>>> Anyway, I found the other problem for all version of 1.52 Beta
SH>>>> (till beta 7) that may cause this problem, i.e : The Bat!
SH>>>> *always* counting *wrong* message number,

T>>> This bug in the Connection Center is already known.

AL> Well, the bug is known but it's an interesting idea to connect
AL> this to the tmp-files and the crashes.
AL> For the problem with accumulating tmp-files, this makes perfect
AL> sense to me.

AFAIR this kind of problem onlt relate to Win9x, while W2k not having
such problem (at least I don't).

AL> For TB! this is a failed import of a message (that in reality does
AL> not exist and therefore the file does not contain any information
AL> = 0 bytes). But I don't really see any connection with TB!
AL> crashing.

Perhaps not really crash, only freeze. I noticed when there is some
message index broken, TB! will automatically try to fixed it
(sometimes with notifying first, sometimes not), and in the process of
"reindexing" TB! tend to freeze.

AL> It just happened again that it crashed when I tried Ctrl-F4 (reply
AL> to sender). Not every time, just sometimes...

Have you tried revert back to 1.51 ? whap happen then ?
