My setting was "Immediate," and as you say, the resend process puts it
into  the  outbox  instead.   Of  course,  my normal sends do get sent
immediately.   I  wonder  if  the "resend" process is deliberately set
differently (to the Outbox) by design.  I don't know, of course.
