My first IMAP4 account

I have re-setup the Orange account and have the following result now:
Receiving is working but not sending.
This is what I have done: I declared for send <imap.orange.jo> port
993 (TLS) and for receiving <imap.orange.jo> port 587 (STARTTLS) with
authentication. This allowed to receive but not to send eMails. I
tried all possible configurations for send such as Regular on Port 25
or smtp and pop instead of imap on Port 587 but nothing worked.
Later I wanted to set the predefined folders under properties. It took
TB! a very long time without anything to happen. Also I could not
close the process so ahad to kill TB! and restart it. From that moment
on nothing worked anymore. I had to delete the account and set it up
again. Only to find out that TLS on port 993 does no twork anymore and
have to operate under regular on port 143. Sending still does not
function.
So I hope those folks with much more IMAP experiences can help. Thank
you.
